Clean, Fun, Delightful, and Heart Warming!
How and where do I start? What an experience it was watching CinemaBandi on Netflix!
Great content in the past has proved that we need to appreciate content made with passion, hard work, quest, dedication, and above all, LOVE towards making GREAT CONTENT.CinemaBandi is one more example that great content and a genuine attempt is always appreciated by the audience and was trending #1 on Netflix for a couple of days.
CinemaBandi is the story of a struggling auto driver who finds an expensive camera left by one of his passengers and decides to make a movie with his fellow villagers. All he has is the camera and zeal to make a movie – with that, how he starts working to make things happen? Who all help him? Will he be able to make a movie? Is everyone a filmmaker at heart?- You need to watch CinemaBandi.
While the story outline may seem simple, you may be wondering what made this film stand out? There are many elements – The way every character is written, visualized, and picturized – WOW! Every dialogue is written with utmost care making sure the slang is thoroughly followed. By the way, have you ever been to Karnataka? If not, you must have definitely traveled to Karnataka, and if you observe them talking Telugu, it is an entirely different slang. They converse in a unique slang that picks up words from Kadapa, Chittor, Nellore slangs, and of course, Kannada is inherent in every line they speak. The dialogue writer deserves massive applause for the effort and research he has put in to make sure not even one dialogue deviates from the discussed slang. While big movies have failed to put in efforts into researching and knowing different slang, cultural habits, etc., which is sometimes the core of the film, what CinemaBandi has done is “Outstanding.”
The cast is yet another huge asset to CinemaBandi. Vikas Vasistha as the innocent auto driver, Rag Mayur as Maridesh Babu, Sandeep Varanasi, literally everyone delivered theirs beyond the best performance. They have clearly put their heart into CinemaBandi, and the output is apparent 🙂 One character in the movie deserves a special appreciation, and that’s none other than our dear “Manga” (Actress Uma) – the heroine-turned vegetable vendor. She rocked even in the most petite scenes she appears and delivered the performance with such ease and naturality. She is truly a unique star of CinemaBandi, and you are sure to remember her whenever you think of the movie.
Kudos to the director Praveen Kandregula and to the rockstars Raj & DK for encouraging good content.
CinemaBandi is overall an absolute delight to watch, and it is here to stay. If I have to put it in simple words
CinemaBandi is “clean, fun, delightful, and heartwarming.”
Let’s encourage good content and let it shine.
